If This Happens, Should You Have To Pay Child Support?

It's rare for a person to enter into a new relationship without there being a child from a previous relationship.  My question is, how much input should the husband or new boy friend have when it comes to an active father's child?  Also should the new husband require that child support continue to be paid?
